At the July meeting, members showed their quilts. This was followed by a demonstration of the “stack and whack” technique, so we have some photos of the books that were brought for us to look through to learn more about that.

At the June meeting, we were able to show the remining quilts for the Volunteer Fire Department donations.
After that, members shared other finished projects.

Pamela Wickard was our guest presenter this month. She showed her tapestries and paintings, and talked extensively about her process and what led her to becoming a textile mixed media artist. See the March 2026 Meeting Minutes for more information.
Banner day for show and tell! 9 people brought in their quilts! Su D, Kathy P, JoAnn, Maryanne, Denise, Sharon, Janice, Andrea, chris….several of these people brought in multiple quilts! And we got a preview of the VIGA fundraising quilt, as people showed off the first of the finished blocks that will go into the quilt!

Show & Tell - Applique Featured Quilts - April 2025
Appliqué was the featured technique on display at the April meeting. Members brought in examples of raw edge, turned, and hand-turned appliqué. Such beautiful work!!!
